Oxford Place Centre and Leeds Town Hall

Oxford Place Centre comprises Oxford Place Methodist Church and
Oxford Place Community Care.
Oxford Place Methodist Church is the home of
the Leeds Methodist Mission and is the
only church in the Leeds Mission Circuit and belongs
to the Leeds District
of the Methodist Church [Circuit Ref: 16/1].
Leeds Methodist Mission – the Methodist Church at Oxford Place
There are three ministers, a deacon and an administrator in the
Leeds Mission Staff Team, and the
Circuit Stewards and Church Stewards make up Church and Circuit Team.
The church is normally open six days a week. From Monday to Friday
it is open from 10.00am to 2.30pm. It is open every Sunday for Worship.
Leeds Methodist Mission publishes a quarterly magazine called
Life and Work.

Methodist churches are separate charities and are excepted
from registering with the Charity Commission if their accounts
are forwarded to Methodist Circuits, Districts and Conference.
Although charities they do not have a registered charity number.
Where a charity number is requested the following response is made:
The church is excepted from registration by virtue of Statutory
Instrument No.1598 of 2002.

There is access for the disabled to all parts of the Oxford Place Centre.
There are external permanent ramps and
various kinds of lifts inside.
