Leeds Methodist Mission has a number of rooms at the Oxford Place Centre that can be hired for sessional use.

  • Catering at Leeds Methodist Mission is provided by Nurture @ Oxford Place.
  • Discounts are available for community and voluntary groups.

SANCTUARY (Capacity 150)

The Sanctuary is laid out in theatre style with space at the back that can be adapted for a variety of meetings.

It has a dedicated audio visual system that can be booked (you need supply your own PAT tested computer.)

The Sanctuary is fitted with a PA system with fixed and remote microphones and an audio loop system for the hard of hearing.

Room 1 (Capacity 35)

Room 1 can be laid out in theatre, boardroom or 'coffee morning' style.

It has a dedicated audio visual system and SMARTboard that can be booked (you will need to supply your own PAT tested computer.)

Room 2 (Capacity 20)

Room 2 is attached to the café and has folding doors to partition it off from the main room. It is usually laid out in café style but the tables and chairs can be re-arranged as required

Room 3 and the Brunswick Chapel (Capacity 12 each)

Room 3 and the Brunswick Chapel can both be used for small group meetings. These rooms are booked separately

Refreshments and Catering

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALCOHOL AND/OR GAMBLING ARE NOT ALLOWED ON METHODIST CHURCH PREMISES.
  • Provision of water flasks, cups, saucers, tea, coffee, milk etc £1.50 per head per half day.
  • Our café is open Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Setting up and clearing up times should be included in the time the room is booked.
  2. Those attending your meeting should not normally arrive more than 15 minutes before the event begins. If the start time is after 10am and before 2pm participants are welcome to use the café while they wait.
  3. If a session overruns there will be an additional charge based on the hourly rate of your session (to be charged in one hour blocks).
  4. There is a minimum charge of £31.
  5. There is a minimum charge of £270 for Saturday booking.
  6. Deposit: A deposit of 25% will be required with your booking form.
  7. Cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking there will be a charge of:
    • 25% of the total charge up to one month before the event
    • 50% of the total charge up to one week before the event
    • 100% of the total charge less than one week before the event.

    In the event of bad weather causing the cancellation there will be no charge for the room if the event is re-booked immediately. If, however, there is no future booking your organisation will be charged 50% of the cost. If we are unable to cancel any pre-booked catering your organisation will be expected to cover the cost.

  8. Equipment: All electrical equipment being brought into Leeds Methodist Mission must be PAT tested.
